MISSION STATEMENT
“Walking with Moms In Need” seeks to equip our parish to be there for pregnant and
parenting Moms in need by assisting them in love and friendship and helping them
connect with the resources they need to choose life and keep their families together.

 Our Core Team meets as needed either at church or via zoom in order to discuss specific needs of the mothers we are serving as they arise.  There is no set meeting day or time.

We meet mothers in need where they are, assess their needs and support them as our resources allow to include:
-Attainment of diocesan clearances in order to provide transportation to medical appointments, social services, Catholic Charities appointments, etc.
-Provide monetary assistance for necessities such as rent, groceries, medical copays, furniture, appliances, diapers, formula, etc.
-Volunteers may drop off needed items to the mother’s home.
-Annual diaper drive in conjunction with the Knights of Columbus
-Organize baby showers for pregnant moms we support
-Creation of a Resource Directory which will be linked to the parish website and weekly bulletin via a QR code.  This directory serves as an aid to all parishioners as they encounter a mother in need in the community.
