MISSION STATEMENT
Beautification of parish grounds to provide an inviting and welcoming environment to all who enter the grounds.
To provide spiritual and social connections for all who love to garden and appreciate all gifts from God in their natural beauty.

The St. Benedict Garden Ministry meets on a seasonal basis with most activity in the Spring and Summer months.  Each member is responsible for watering containers/gardens for 1-3 weeks during the year.  Garden maintenance sessions are arranged periodically as required.

Our Garden Ministry is responsible for the maintenance of the plants in containers and gardens in the church courtyard.  Most work is done as a group so that members not only enjoy their gardening experience but also enjoy the fellowship of ministry members! Our Garden Ministry also engages with the youth of our parish to help us with major planting projects. This not only helps us with the physical aspect of gardening, but also teaches our youth about principles of gardening and the care of plants. 

To work with the youth, you will need to pick up a Safe Haven packet from the church office.
