Girl Scouts

Troop #756

Contact: Alysia Clambert  [email protected]

Being a girl scout is a great way for girls to meet new friends and have wonderful faith-building experiences.  We are currently accepting girls in our Daisy and Brownie groups (grades K-3).

Mission:  To teach and promote the Catholic faith while being involved in the Girl Scout organization. The girls end each meeting with a prayer, and routinely pray “Our Father” and “Hail Mary” at meetings. The troop has a lesson each meeting with a take action component, usually involving a way to serve others, including the parish's Serve Saturday. We are involved throughout the year with lots of great activities, for instance:

  • collecting coupons for soldiers
  • collecting and assembling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child
  • selling cookies with a plan to tithe the money
  • caroling at retirement homes
