Meet Louise Henesy

Louise Henesy, coordinator of religious education for Saint Benedict Catholic Church, grew up in the Bronx, New York and attended Catholic Schools. She graduated from Iona College with a degree in Spanish and Education. She has been involved in religious education for the past 20 years and received her Catechetical Certification from the Saint Cyril of Jerusalem School of Catechesis in the Bridgeport Diocese of Connecticut. She taught Religious Education for Saint Patrick’s in Redding Ridge, Ct. Louise was also a substitute teacher through the years and very involved in volunteer work at her children’s school.

Louise has been married to her husband, Bill, for 30 years and they have 6 children.
