Building Stewardship Campaign

What principles is the campaign is based on?

Stewardship: Recognition that God owns all that we possess and that He will provide the resources for each of our lives.
Sacrifice: Both in our attitude of worship of God as Provider and the act of making sacred or setting apart our resources for God, we learn to sacrifice.
Commitment: We are challenged to purpose in our hearts what we should give and follow through by giving faithfully.
Involvement: Everyone wanting an opportunity to serve will have one. This develops a sense of community by working and giving together.

My Personal Journey to a Sacrificial Commitment

“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

2 Corinthians 9:7

In arriving at my decision to give to my Lord, and in support of the Scriptural Funding Campaign of my church, I will honestly consider and resolve these questions:

    1. Have I really prayed about this until I have received an answer from heaven?
    2. Will this be TRULY SACRIFICIAL for me?
    3. Am I willing to be OBEDIENT to the unknown will of God, accepting this major challenge to my FAITH, and rising to the higher standard of giving sacrificially?

    • How will it change my lifestyle?
    • Will it rearrange my priorities?
    • What will I give up for my Lord?

    4. Does my heart respond with JOY to my giving sacrificially at this level?
