Meet Andrew Burrichter

Drew Burrichter, pastoral associate for St. Benedict parish, grew up West Chester, PA outside of Philadelphia. He attended St. Anselm College, located in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he received a bachelor's degree in Philosophy in 1989. As an undergraduate, he spent a semester abroad at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. After graduating, Drew worked as a paralegal in Philadelphia, Austin, TX and Washington, D.C. From 1991-1992, he considered joining the priesthood and attended St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia. He decided to pursue an alternative path and spent a year teaching eighth grade at a Catholic elementary school in San Antonio, Texas in 1993-1994. Drew attended graduate school at The Catholic University of America and earned a master's in Theology in 1999.

Drew has been married to Paula since 1994. They have two children, Dante and Georgia. For the past seven years, he has been at home caring for his children, prior to assuming his position as pastoral associate. For fun and relaxation he likes to read, run and spend time at the beach.
